Uniball joints are a solid alternative to flimsy factory ball joints. Made of precision-ground, hardened steel coated with hard chrome and lined with Teflon – they provide strength and durability at the highest level.
A-arms with Durotrak technology are designed with additional pin advance values and a properly adjusted camber curve to ensure correct geometry for lifts of 1 to 3 inches. MetalCloak’s uniball upper control arms provide improved handling and steering response when the vehicle is lifted.
The uniball joint mounting system (cup and pinch bolt) prevents play while allowing easy maintenance without removing the control arm.
A laser-engraved “M” cap protects the joint from fouling, extending its life.
A MetalCloak control arms for the Bronco feature patented, two-piece Durotrak joints that perfectly dampen noise, vibration and oscillation. Durotrak™ bushings are made of a unique elastomer developed by MetalCloak. The two-piece bolt-on design makes it easy to install without a press and improves ride comfort and handling precision.
Duroflex™ rear control arms for the Bronco 6G are one of our top suspension innovations. The patented Duroflex joints are designed to always stay in alignment with the frame and bridge for durability and performance. The strong DOM steel tubes have been molded with tire clearance and damage resistance in mind.
The adjustable threaded ends are forged for 37% higher fatigue resistance than cheaper cast parts – ideal for extreme off-road driving.
The Duroflex™ joints used are the only vulcanized elastomeric self-centering joints with Kevlar® fiber from DuPont™ – they offer exceptional durability, greater operating range and the best vibration damping on the market.
The adjustable Durotrak Panhard rod for Bronco 6G features patented, two-piece Durotrak bushings mounted on both sides of the 1.25″ diameter rod made of 4130 chromomolybdenum.
Finished with a gold zinc coating for maximum weather resistance.
The 2.5″ lift spring reinforcements mount directly to the factory suspension components for a solid, backlash-free design. Constructed of thick, laser-cut 3/16″ steel, fully welded and finished in the distinctive Gold Zinc color.
Steering rod reinforcements replace factory locknuts. Made of durable 4130 chromomolybdenum, they effectively transfer loads from the threaded rod ends, protecting them from bending or damage.
MetalCloak components are FMVSS certified for safety when configured with 37″ tires, full body armor and suspension lift.
