Our True Dual Rate™ coilovers provide a raised ride height and improved handling over standard performance. True Dual Rate front coilovers are supplied with MetalCloak front lower correction pads. This polymer insulator replaces the OEM plastic part and corrects coil arching that can be caused by using worn parts. It fits in the factory location and is a quick upgrade to tune your Jeep. MetalCloak’s thermoset elastomeric top coil insulator pads are designed for durability and superiority over factory parts. The pads are made specifically for MetalCloak True Dual Rate coils and are model specific. MetalCloak’s “components” have been FMVSS safety certified in configurations with 37-inch tires, full body armor and raised suspension. Note: True Dual Rate Coils are designed to work best with Duroflex control arms and 6Pak or RockSport shocks. Note: MetalCloak does not recommend powder coating True Dual Rate coils. The baking process during powder coating can, in some cases, change the metallurgical properties of the coils, resulting in a loss of coil lift. Therefore, the powder coating process of the coils voids any warranties stated or implied with respect to the coils.
