MetalCloak RockSport BLACK XD – Adjustable Steering Damper for Jeep JK/JL Wrangler and JT GladiatorRockSport BLACK XD is a steering damper that helps to mute steering wheel impacts and improve the “on-center feel” when driving over bumps and on the highway. It uses a through-shaft design, so the damping works symmetrically left/right and doesn’t “pull” the steering wheel to one side.
Adjustment is done on the piston rod – you have 6 settings without tools, so you can quickly adjust the characteristics for everyday riding, larger wheels or heavier terrain. In addition, the reservoir can be rotated (clockable), which makes it easy to adjust for clearance and accessories in the chamber/around the bars.
