MetalCloak ball joints consist of a chrome-plated spindle and ball with an induction-hardened surface that resists wear and provides a maximized bearing surface to distribute force loads; this material provides superior energy absorption capacity without cracking compared to inferior materials.
The composite bearing sleeve slides over the spindle to handle shock loads and is the most resistant to deformation. Both the ball and spindle are load-bearing and use metal-on-metal strength, captured with tool steel rings that eliminate memory and are durable.
