The rod end is a left-hand threaded end designed for the driver side of the MetalCloak Jeep JL Wrangler & JT Gladiator Drag Link.

The Drag Link tie rod ends have a factory fit with OE taper bolt and lock nut, which can be found in the dual 1-ton forged and heat-treated rod ends, have extra strength left where needed and are designed to control directional misalignment to prevent Drag Link flopping. Sealed with durable rubber grease covers, the ends can be easily serviced with Zerk fittings.
Drag Link rod ends are designed with MetalCloak’s Anti-Flop feature. The Anti-Flop feature provides a full range of movement from side to side, providing free control when moving the extremes of the Jeep’s pitch and articulation, while a limited range of “front-to-rear” movement is built into the rod end and eliminates the possibility of shifting to allow the rod end to “flop”.Note: MetalCloak recommends that a suspension specialist set up the Jeep after installing the MetalCloak suspension.
