The premium disconnects are made of 1″ x .25 wall steel, which provides a stronger and more stable end connection compared to standard connectors. The disconnects feature machined flat keyholes and are double-adjustable for easy micro-adjustment.
The quick-connect rod ends have precision-ground, hard-chrome plated spherical rod ends made of carbon steel with a self-lubricating tread that provides greater rigidity and much longer life compared to end-connector bushings.
The end connectors feature a solid, laser-cut 3/8″ bracket for easier access to the thick 3/4” mounting studs and mounting points.
The disconnects are supplied with 4130 chrome-zinc steel mounting pins, rod pin clamps for quick release, and a torsion bar disconnect bolt plate and retaining straps secure the torsion bar and end connectors to the frame during travel.
MetalCloak premium quick disconnects are bolt-on and fit without cutting. The front torsion bar quick couplers are designed to work with MetalCloak’s 3.5-inch suspension.
