The MetalCloak JL Wrangler Solid Chromoly Long-Travel Adjustable Rear Steering Bar Kit is designed for maximum up and down travel and uses MetalCloak Durotrak 2-piece joints (mcpatents.com). Designed for use with lifts from 3.5″ to 5.5″.

The solid chrome steering rod is heavy-duty and adjustable, allowing the axle to be placed in a precise location to maximize performance. Designed to go up and down to remove exhaust and non-original axles and differential covers, the 2-piece Durotrak bushing provides the best NVH and 360 degrees of rotation to eliminate the possibility of jamming. MetalCloak’s bolt-on rear tie rod bracket is made from strong 1/4-inch hot-rolled steel plate and is designed by CAD for a perfect fit. It is the BEST and only long-stroke bolt-on tie rod system with patented Durotrak joints available for your JL. MetalCloak’s “components” have been certified for safety by FMVSS when configured with 37-inch tires, full body armor and raised suspension.
