The closer the steering rod is to level, the better handling your JT will have. An angled steering rod moves the axle more to one side during suspension compression; a flat rod splits the difference and allows the axle to be more centered relative to the Jeep throughout the suspension cycle. The riser bracket is made of 1/4″ steel, is fully welded and then finished in our signature gold zinc, it’s an easy bolt-on component and a fantastic upgrade to the handling of a lifted JT. It comes complete with all necessary hardware and is manufactured in the U.S.A. Note: Once the MetalCloak suspension is installed, we recommend using a suspension specialist.
